Parody of Chop Suey by Baroness Elisa: Embarrassing Moments Reveals Culture Shock from OZ to Holland
/24-7PressRelease.com/ - January 4, 2005 - Arriving from Australia in February 2005, Baroness Elisa begins rehearsals for her two year U.S. Tour, entitled, Baroness Elisa: Embarrassing Moments. The ninety minute performance will feature a parody of the Flower Drum Song classic song Chop Suey. Moving from a life in Australia to Holland, the Baroness Elisa recounts numerous humorous and embarrassing anecdotes about the transition from one culture to the next. The beautiful red-headed sultry singer is about to launch a solid North American tour in April 2005. The first performances of the Baroness Elisa's cabaret theatrical will take place in South Florida with the venue to be announced shortly, according to producer and promoter TR Cutler.
Chop Suey, when introduced to American theater-goers in the late 50's, told the story of adjusting to American culture; perhaps the Baroness Elisa will write about this transition to American culture after the two year tour in the U.S.
Baroness Elisa is the lead singer for SYNERGY, an internationally recognized duo with a formidable repertoire covering the best of 50 years of music. SYNERGY is known for Jazz, Ballads, and Soft Pop to Classic Rock, Disco, Soul and Dance.
