NYU Senior Meisner Student Performs in New York University's Production of "The Distance From Here" Written by Neil LaBute

Two Crain Productions, Inc. today announced Ross Crain, a senior at the Meisner School of Acting at New York University, will portray Rich in NYU's production

    /24-7PressRelease.com/ - Austin, Texas, April 7, 2005 - Told in startling blasts of laughter and horror, "The Distance From Here" is a portrait of young America on the brink of revolt. LaBute dissects the lives of six Americans living in a suburban wasteland trapped in a web of anger, deception, and violence.

The play runs from April 12th through the 17th at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City.

Crain, a senior at the Meisner School of Acting at NYU, is the son of Garry D. Crain of Austin, Texas and Edwina Deaton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His film credits include "The Ringer," "Delirium," and "LaDuende." His stage work includes "Troilus and Cressida," "The Absent Character," "Annie Get Your Gun," Honk," "Sexual Perversity in Chicago," "Antigone," "Buried Child," "The Real Thing," "Trumpet of the Land," "White Savage," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and a lead performance as Stanley in The University of Oklahoma's, "A Streetcar Named Desire."
