SUSPICIOUS CLOWNS X premieres November 2, 2007

Chicago's maverick sketch comedy troupe returns for its tenth original production in five years.

/Performing Arts PR News/ - CHICAGO, IL, October 08, 2007 - After the resounding success of last summer's "Suspicious Clowns 9", the sketch comedy troupe returns to Live Bait Theater with "Suspicious Clowns X", its tenth original production in five years.

Capitalizing on its unique take on different styles of comedy and blending of seemingly disparate themes into larger story arcs, Suspicious Clowns' new production is teeming with innovation and laughter. A jumper on the side of a building is confronted by a non-English-speaking negotiator who chews ham. A wrestling match of local favorites becomes more intimate than the commentators are prepared for. Also, in the group's potentially darkest and most honest scenes, a group of friends and family grow weary of a terminal cancer victim's fifth year anniversary of surviving the disease.
