September Events for River View Players Weekly "Sunday Services" Series

River View Players September 2008 events features short films and play performances. This weekly performance art series is free and open to the public at the upscale Cafe Largo in West Harlem. Produced by Wabi Sabi Productions, Inc. for River View Players.

    /Performing Arts PR News/ - NEWYORK, NY, September 20, 2008 - River View Players weekly art series hosted at Caf Largo in West Harlem features upcoming plays and performances. The River View Players calendar of events for September 2008:

September 21st - "K(no)w De:tales", a 16 minute film by kA'RAMUU KUSH: a former dancer gambles on a chance at unconventional love when consenting to a blind date with her on line suitor.

"Dear Me", a 21 minute film by kA'RAMUU KUSH: Axl Ellington, a gifted writer, suffers through a debilitating bout of writer's block for reasons that elude her.

"Suspect" a one act play by Harlem playwright, Michael Medori. A psychological drama about a woman in prison who's innocence or guilt is teetered with uncertainty. Directed by Shanae Sharon.

"It Goes Unsaid" by Rhonney Greene, Teresa Michelle Lasley, and Derek Lee McPhatter of Under The Spell Productions. Characters struggle with the impact of the color complex in a powerful trilogy of revealing vignettes. Directed by Shanae Sharon.

September 28th - "The Lattice Crashes" a two act play written and directed by Derek Lee McPhatter. Lies, society and relationships takes center stage in this dramatic mystery. Gay bashing at a Black college. Problem is no gays are even involved.

All programs are free and open to the public. Upcoming River View Players events will also feature film, poetry and literary readings.

River View Players founded in 2008 is an Artist Development Program sponsored by New York based Wabi Sabi Productions Inc. a 501 (c) 3 Not For Profit Corporation Founded in 2005 by President Emmitt H. Thrower.
