A Dinky Act of Kindness Makes a World of Difference
Dinky Music event to help raise funds for charity's local chapter
CORONA, CA, May 24, 2009 /Performing Arts PR News/ -- Dinky Music Productions has announced the first of many exciting shows to come. Dinky Acts of Kindness is more than just a concert though, it is a benefit event with proceeds going to the local chapter of a charity that helps grant wishes to individuals with life threatening illnesses, enriching their lives with hope, strength, and joy. For the past 26 years, the chapter has granted more than 3,500 wishes to children in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Dinky Music Inc.'s Non-Profit Coordinator has helped organize this fundraiser with Coach House Entertainment to help the charitable organization continue their trend of generosity and compassion. The event will be held on Saturday, May 30th, at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, CA.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the show will begin at 8:00 PM with an acoustic set by Carl Gray, followed by performances from Handsome Devil, KROQ Local Artist End Roulette, XNO, Rob Michaels, and Ana Kefr on their album-release show. Surprise celebrity appearances and guest emcees are also scheduled to appear. Raffles will take place throughout the night, with prizes to include a Jackson guitar, cables from Tsunami Cables, a goodie bag from Ernie Ball, gift cards from DiNGlife.com, a drummer's prize pack from Drum Playr, Inc., and merchandise from Supa Pirate Booty Hunt and Level 27. The event is also being made possible by contributions from Color My Shirt, Ideal Direct Ad Group, Inc., and the University of Recording Arts & Music. The Sik Girls from Sik Industries as well as the Dinky Dolls from Dinky Music Inc. will also be on hand for photo opportunities. Media coverage of the event will be provided by Live OC Magazine, Obscene Entertainment Magazine, MUEN Magazine, and Hollywood Music Television.
All ages of attendees are welcome.
