Classical Connect completes the George Flynn project

Working with the composer, Classical Connect has put together an unprecedented collection, which spans 35 years of the composer's career, from 1968 (Wound) to 2003 (Remembering).
This selection contains Mr. Flynn's 114-minute piano cycle Trinity, which was described in the British music journal Tempo in 2005 as a "masterpiece."
George Flynn chaired Musicianship and Composition at DePaul University in Chicago for 25 years. He counts Ives' Concord Sonata as one of the earliest important musical influences. He has composed over 100 works in all media, including over five hours of piano solo music. His music is performed internationally, and has appeared on several recordings, including four recent CD's on the Southport Composers label. As a pianist, Flynn has performed and recorded new music for many years throughout the US and Europe.
