George O. Akinkuoye Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Healthcare Administration
George O. Akinkuoye excels at liaising between healthcare management and patients' families
FRAMINGHAM, MA, June 9, 2010 /Performing Arts PR News/ -- George O. Akinkuoye, President and Administrator of Medicol Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health administration.
A nine-year veteran of the healthcare field, George O. Akinkuoye discovered his calling quite by accident. While attending school for Construction Management/Architecture, he obtained a part-time employment at a nursing home, a stint that opened his eyes to his aptitude for working with people. He then completed his degree, worked briefly as a Cost Engineer, and later went back to nursing after being laid off. Since then he has parlayed this innate ability of relating well to people to make it to his position at the helm of Medicol. As president and administrator of MedicoI Inc, Mr. Akinkuoye serves primarily as liaison between healthcare management and patients' families. In charge of all operations, he is responsible for managing human resources, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Administration standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In addition to his work for Medicol, Mr Akinkuoye is a publisher and a recording artist and his soon to be released first vocal music titled" Give All to Higher Power" is set to debut this June. His previously published book, Esoteric Principles for Business and Self Advancement and 2 CDs are already available on the market. An experienced instrumentalist and drummer, Mr Akinkuoye is excited to release his first vocal musical venture.
Mr Akinkuoye completed his Master's degree at Regis College in Weston, MA, and is currently pursuing his Doctoral Studies. He is a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association MNA, a student member of the Association of Scientific Study of Consciousness ASSC, a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Framingham Rotary Club. His goals for the next five years include expanding his company further, obtaining his Ph.D. Increasing his involvement in community services, writing, publishing more books and releasing more music.
